Alcohol on the bus - reminder

It is against the law for any member or their guest to carry or consume alcohol on the bus, as well as being in breach of the Clubs rules.

Already this season there have been Hearts fans arrested and charged for drinking alcohol on busses and at least one supporters bus may have to fold due to this.

The Rainbow Hearts Supporters Club will continue to enforce a strict zero tolerance policy on the carrying and drinking of alcohol on club busses. Any member or guest, who is found with alcohol on a club bus, even if they avoid arrest, may receive a lifetime ban from traveling on club busses.

Please ensure that you comply with the law on this, and that you ensure that all guests that you bring to travel on the club busses are also made fully aware of this.

 

Non-travel on the bus

 

It is very important that if you or a guest has booked a seat on the bus and then you cannot make the game that you inform Lynda ASAP. You or your guest must not just fail to appear as that means we may have turned people away and the club cannot afford to do this. We are aware that things can happen that mean you may have to change your plans and not travel to the game, but please contact Lynda. If you do not contact Lynda and do not show up for the bus, then you may be liable to be charged for the seat(s) that you have booked, even if you don’t use them, as laid down in the clubs byelaws.

 

Sectarian Singing

 

Heart of Midlothian Football Club and the Rainbow Hearts Supporters Club are totally against sectarian singing. The SPL will be continuing to monitor all games in Scotland. To help combat the small minority of Hearts ‘fans’ that sing these songs, Hearts will have there own security guards attending away matches to help identify these people that sing these songs.

 

New Members

 

The Club currently have some vacancies for new members, so if you know of any neighbour, family, friend or work colleague that would like to join the Rainbow Hearts Supporters Club, then either download the application form from the web site, www.rainbowhearts.co.uk, contact me by email, boise@hmfc1874.com, or speak to any Committee member on the bus.
