R.H.S.C. NEWSLETTER - November 2007
The annual Remembrance Service will take place on Sunday November 11th, at Haymarket. This is the War Memorial put up by the people of Edinburgh to commemorate the sacrifices made by, amongst others, the Players, Directors, and Supporters of Heart of Midlothian, who volunteered to serve their country. This is always a very moving service, and whether you have every attended before or not, I'd ask that you make the effort to come along as the Rainbow Hearts will be laying a wreath on your behalf. The service will be starting at 10.45am.
There is a function being organized for the Gorgie Suite on Sunday 9th December, which may be of interest to some of you. The intention is to have players present from the 60's, 70's and 80's to take part in a Question & Answer session, with the questions being posed by the fans present. The function will take place during the afternoon; from approximately 12.30 - 17.00 (details to be confirmed) and while there will be no food available, there will be a pay bar. Tickets are £10 per person, or £100 for a table of ten, and as this is expected to be very popular, they may not be available for long. Please email me at boise@hmfc1874.com as soon as possible if you are interested, and please be aware that it will be strictly first come first served.
The Committee is currently finalizing the arrangements with our merchandise supplier, and as soon as this is complete we will let you know. We will have an increased range of Rainbow Hearts branded goods, which can be personalized, and are of good quality and at a good price. Once ready we will email you all, and have the full range, prices, and order form, available for down load on the Club's web site.
