The Rainbow Hearts Supporters Club was formed in 1986 by a small band of Hearts Fans based in The Rainbow Inn, Drum Brae, Edinburgh. Since those early days, when the original dozen members used a couple of cars, the Club now has grown with a membership of approximately 100.
The Club is proud of its family image, as reflected by the large number of female and juvenile members. The Club is non-sectarian and is not affiliated to any religious or political organizations.
The Club is a member of The Federation of Hearts Supporters Clubs and has strong links with Hearts Youth Development, members holding committee posts in both of these organizations
The Club currently runs coaches to the majority of away fixtures, from The Rainbow Inn, Drum Brae, Edinburgh.

Towards the end of 1989 the Rainbow Hearts became one of the first Supporters Clubs in the UK to have an Internet Site set up on the World Wide Web. From these humble beginnings as a mainly text based site, then web-master Andy Dickson, built the site up to include graphics, sound and video clips. The site moved here to its new home in February 2005.
This site posts bus departure times and ticket information, along with other club related items, so that members with access to the Internet are kept informed. This is particularly useful for members who do not live within easy reach of the Rainbow. The Club has several members who live in England, although our most distant members live in New Zealand!
In past years, the Club has been fortunate to have secured financial sponsorship from companies associated with members of the club. However, we are currently on the lookout for a new sponsor. In return, potential sponsors will receive a prominent mention and if required a dedicated page on this site. Our thanks go to our previous sponsors, Scott & Paterson and Premier Vending Services, both of whom helped us greatly. We think that this is a fairly unique situation, as far as Scottish Football Supporters Clubs are concerned.
